WHATS THE DISADVANTAGES OF THE CERAMIC KNIFE?

I MEAN, MY FRIEND BUY A CERAMIC KNIFE, SHE SAID IT‘S REALLY GOOD, BUT I DO WANT TO KNOW HOW GOOD IT IS? IS IT SOMETHING WORSE THAN STEEL KNIFE?

Answer:

The ceramic knife works well on all vegies and boneless meats, but you should not use it on cheeses, frozen foods, fruits with pits,or any hard object. You cannot pry or stab hard and you must be very choosy of cutting boards, wood or teflon only. Excellent knife with an extremely sharp cutting edge but care must be taken as it is brittle. I use mine mainly for fresh vegies.
