Whats up with my temperature?

My body temperature is always lowIts supposed to be 98.6, and I know its normal for it to be as low as 97 occasionally, but Im lucky if my temperature reaches 97My average temperature is about 96 and my fevers don't go higher than 99.9I wear warm clothes, turn up the heat in my house and sleep with as many blankets as I can get my hands on but I still feel like my blood is slush and my head is on fireI cant stay warm, but my body keeps sweatingis there something wrong?Thank you for your help.

Answer:

I've owned M1a's since 86' when I got serious about service match shootingI have been around tons and tons of shooters who have put a scope on them - and none have anything good to say about any mount system that relied on the screw mount you see on the receiver's left sideIf the recoil doesn't loosen it - it looses zero when you detach and replace itMost of the $100-$150 mount systems rely on using the side screw, and, a second tightening screw that pushes down onto the receiver just above bolt face/chamber area - and it leaves marksNot coolThe mounts that attach to the screw, and, require you to remove the rear sight and use that base are the only 'no drilling required' ones I have seen that people seem somewhat ok with A few years ago, I think I saw a guy with a set of what looked like Leupold QD bases that were drilled + tapped to the receiver that worked greatYou can call SA customer supprot and ask them to email you a cut sheet or product sheet on the basesor they will simply talk you though the differencesIn my experience - unless you are willing to commit to doing a permenent mount on a rifle - you need to be prepared for disapointments with no drill mounts.
Nope, it's actually fairly common for people to have below average body tempIt runs in my family, myself, my brother, and my mom are all the same wayIf I have a normal temperature I'm probably actually running a feverI asked the doctor about it and he told me not to worry about itHe did run some tests for my thyroid and such just in case (low body temperature is a very rare symptom of thyroid problems), but all came back normalFocus on keeping your hands and toes warmI have low blood pressure which leads to my extremities getting cold fastThis sounds like what might be happening to you more than your body temperature being a problemAlways wear dry socks, and get one of those neat hand warmers that you snap the piece of metal inside and they get warmYou just have to boil those to reset them so you can use them for a long time I also like to to keep a couple of blankets on my legs, but for my upper body just a sheet and comforterHope this helps!
Have one of the aluminum mounts and can't get it to hold a zero, let alone return on re-mounting.
The A.R.M.S18 is a very good oneIt is solid steel and attaches at the rear after you remove the stripper clip guideYou do not have to drill or tap anything, it uses the existing holesThe iron sights remain usable.
I'd definitely have to agree with you on the fact that aluminum/steel stress interfaces never hold up for longUnder that recoil, it'll take the poundingfor a while, that is I don't personally own an M1A (or M1 of any creed), but I have a friend who doesI'll get back to you on that(His is already setup with optics) Heywood: My friend has the A.R.M.Ssystem on hisJust had him bring it into the shop, and it's a pretty solid setupWe went out this afternoon and touched off a few rounds; VERY accurate.
