Question:

whay musical should my school preform?

ooops i mean what musical.. :) ....fast typing

Answer:

you should try Grease, or Willy Wonka sounds exciting! I did Annie once, its not all fun when almost every one is an orphan! The Wizard Of Oz was fun too!
beauty and the beast, singing in the rain, or grease would be fun. im sure you could adapt any disney movie into a musical annies a good idea too :)
one of my friend was in eighth grade and recently did annie at her school and she loved it! It is a great musical for middle schoolsers!
Grease the Musical isn't like the movie. It's better for high school cause it deals w/ pretty adult things for middle schools. I'd think Beauty and the Beast is great. My school did it last year and our theatre department hasn't had a bigger turn out. Aladdin is also really cool and then there's Seussical. You'll all find something :) Good luck!
I would go with grease or willie wonka, or my favourite musical, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, it has song, blood, songs and even more blood (oh and a little romance) what more could you want. my college did sound of music one year and by the end every crew member wanted to shoot them self in the head (or the foot if it got us out of moving arches and stairwells), the songs just find a why to aggravate your head. also the bad part is unless a 14 year old is wanting to play a 5 year old (little gretal) then you will need kids. as for annie i stage manage that at a summer camp, and the little kids loved it but they hated that there wasn't much other roles but orphans and housemaids. unless you need a good money maker don't do wizard of oz. to many people have seen the movie and will compare your show to the movie, we did it at college and changed little things and people nitpicked them. but another good one is footloose, my college put that on and all the actors just loved being in it.
