When Indy cars pit, how does their jacking work? I see all four tires off the ground at the same time.?

Answer:

located in all four corners of the car is an air-lift,,,similar to hydraulic jacks,,,only these are air filled,,when the car comes in to the pits, one of the crew members connect an airline fitting with the car, which lifts the car off the ground for service,,, they do the same thing in IMSA and Can-Am racing
Indy cars have a built in jacking system that uses 4 small jacks that go up when an air line is plugged into the car. If you watch carefully, you can see the air line during pit stops. The cars are only a few inches off the ground to start with, so it doesn't have to go up very high to get the tires off the ground.
