Question:

When should I get rid of a childhood blanket?

I'm about to go to collage, and I don't know whether or not to pack my blanket. I don't sleep with it, but it's the only item that has survived both fires and the flood,(Yes, I have had an up and down life!) so it's comforting. Should I take it or leave it?

Answer:

tie a tampon on ur doorknob!!!
Ask your parents for the key, if you haven't done that already. Give him a lecture about how entering a room without knocking is rude. Little brothers are annoying, I know.
It can be any number of things. Rust accumulation from pipes, rust accumulation in the water heater, or construction/work on water lines. You should first ask any of your neighbors if they're having brown water, and possible contact whoever is responsible for your towns water. If they're adding new water lines or replacing lines, sometimes mud and dirt can get in the water lines. If that's not the case, it could be your hot water heater. First turn off the power at the breaker box or unplug it. Then drain it at the bottom. If the water is brown and has chunks of rust, it could be something as simple as replacing the heating coils in the sides of it, or it could require a replacement of your water heater.
