where are the smoke detectors located in the basement?
I love love love rainy days! What a perfect time to clean out the closets, read a book, or play in rain puddles! As for old movies, I love anything Shirley Temple is in and all the old beach movies, especially the Gidget ones.
Ride it very carefully and be careful of being rain beaten! Oh wait a minute, a Vespa can not go that fast. Anyway, wear a rain slicker in inclement weather.
i live in western canaduh,home of the minus 45 degree winter,ive been riding my sporty since january 25th,after that kind of cold,rain would be a blessing. people go ski-dooing,and sea-dooing,so why not ride your bike in all weather ?you just have to be extra cautious,because cagers are'nt expecting you to be there (but then when are they ?)
Carry protective clothing, wear a helmet with a face shield and cotton jersey gloves, turn your lights on and slow down. The gloves work pretty good at clearing the rain off the face shield, but I like a coat of a good aoutomobile wax as well. Just make sure it does not contain any abrasives like pumice or rouge. Slow down because many scooters do not have tire treads that have much grooving to channel away water and this makes them slid easier on slick roads. If you have to cross railroad tracks or trolley tracks, try to cross as close to a 90 degree angel (crosswise) as possible at slow speed. Steel rails, rain and rubber tires do not work well together.
