Looking to put 22‘ rims on the car but I need to have it lift and maybe need to have it cut in the wheel well.
By telling them not to go there. A lot of their teachings are unbiblical. No different than the SDA church.
For the best answers, search on this site shorturl.im/awGRy I've seen this problem a hundred times, literally. It's the cluster connections, there are 2 connectors on the back of your cluster, each with 10 pins (2x5). You'll need to remove the cluster and make sure that all the pins are connecting properly to the plugs that the cluster connects to. All that is really needed to do this is clean the pins, make sure none are bent, and reconnect it. Normally all the cluster needs is to be taken out and put back in to make the connections work again. This is a very common thing with the 1st Gen Neon (95-99), and is NOT your speed sensor. That's a mechanic talking that's looking to do extra work to take your money if they say it's your speed sensor.
Are you planning on huge oversized brake rotors and calipers too? Between the 5-inch lift totally throwing the CG out of whack and the 22-inch flywheels on each corner you'll be lucky to get it to stop in less than a few football field lengths. There's a reason you have to do such drastic things to this car to put hokey wheels on it. This shouldn't be done. ASE Certified Automotive Service Advisor
I think you should turn yourself in to the hospital.
