I am on a engineering design team at my university and we need to build a lightweight wheelchairI am looking into using carbon-reinforced aluminum for the frame but cannot find it anywhereDoes anyone know where I can buy this?

Answer:

Sure you can - sprinkle some flour into the fat, whisk well until incorporatedKeep adding bits of flour until all the fat is absorbed and let cook over medium heat about a minuteGradually add water and continue to whisk to avoid lumpsKeep adding water, a little at a time, until your gravy is the consistency you likeAdd salt and pepper to taste.
while your steak is resting add a finely chopped shallot to the pan, till softwhack in a good glug of red wine, deglaze, keep on heat to reduce volume by about half, add a small knob of cold butter and give a quick whisk, this will make your sauce glossygravy it aint.
you don't have to fry to make good gravy.marinade you steak in olive oil and you favorite seasonings ok in low to med heat with lid on to draw out that essence take lid offNow once you have you steak temp to your liken take the steak out.mix flour and water in a bowl(more water than flour) bring the essence to a simmer pour the water and flour mix in and start stirring turn heat down
Not familiar with thisDoes it come in shapes like channels and plates or is it cast like a plastic casting resin? Your picking it cause it is very strong and lightIs it for wheel rims or the chair frame? Local industrial plastics supplier is where I would look firstDo you remember where you saw the material mentioned, the author might give you a steer.
hmmm, sounds greatJust add a little flour, salt, pepper to the steak fat, and there you goHmmmm.good stuffIf it's too thick, add a little waterBut just for further questions, You can use any kind of meat fatThe best usually comes from PorkBacon, fried pork chops, sausagePersonally I like sausage gravyBut I would not suggest making it from fried chicken fatIt sometimes over powers the taste for the gravy.
