I had a sewer backup in my home and the pit where the trap is was not covered with concrete so the dirt has a horrible odor. I was told to treat the dirt with lime before pouring cement and building a proper pit. Any thoughts.
I like your eggplant idea, but not sure about the bright blue. Maybe an aqua shade would work better.
I think torqouise, orange white or brown would look great with lime green. Not orange on the walls, but accents with pillows and things.
I like your color scheme...be sure the eggplant isn't too dark or too red. A paler bluer eggplant would be better with the lime green. As for the bright blues, try shading into turqoise. Lime and turquoise are hot right now. And remember, paint is easy. If you don't like how it makes you feel, just paint over it. I'm an artist and (according to all my arty friends) a color expert. I suggest getting one of the full paint swatch fans from the paint store and playing with it for a while to find colors you like together. Also, be sure to consider how much of each color you are using. You may find that having the wall be turqoise and using eggplant accents works better. Have fun with it, color is FUN!
