For chevy 427

Answer:

You dont have to the cpu cooler that came with processor is meant to cool it properly the old one could most likely cool it but you will have higher cpu heatals o do you have thermal compound?
You can use the same heatsink, you should replace the silicon gel though EDIT: I personally just use silver :) one tube will last a long time unless you work with many machines too :P
Your current cooler should work, but you need to change the thermal pasteGet a silver one, ceramic ones transfer heat significantly worse.
Any reputable cam grinder could advise you accordingly if you told then exactly what pistons and reliefs are in the pistons as well as the cylinder headsYou need to know how to choose the correct length of pushrods last bot not leastYou need to consider valve to piston clearance 10 degrees before top dead center for the intake valve and 10 degrees after top dead center for the exhaust valveYou should have a minimum of .070 clearance for both valvesAs a hintthe very most radical roller camshaft Chevrolet makes for their 572 cubic inch 720 horsepower engine has a .714 intake and .714 exhaust liftIt also has 278 intake and 282 exhaust duration .050 of cam liftComp Cams, Crower, Howard's and Crane have customer service departments that would help you alongSummit is nothing more than a week sister catalog warehouseThey wouldn't know what works with what!
