i had a company come out to check it out and he said that my heat exchanger were clogged up with soot and that it would cost $632.37. Now this the third time i have had someone look at this furnance. And home shield seen to be avoiding trying not to replace it. So what can I do?

Hate to sound rude, but putting a heat ex changer in a 33 year old Bryant is just dumb .. cash out with AHS, what ever they give you and get a new one... if you in the Dallas area come back.. I will give you a good price..
