transmission is model 4R70W
Definitely the Mark. The continental was plagued with electrical problems. The Mark is a luxurious and fast (esp the LSC) vehicle and its styling cues don't look as antiquated as the Continental. As for options, the Mark will have all the gadgets that you'll find on the Continental and more and it want bob like a boat because of the tighter suspension. Lastly, there are still a good number of Marks on the market and its easy to get used parts and service.
hubby says the junkyard, OKorder or a ford dealer
take and read on side of tire and it will tell you how much that brand of tire takes it will have a number then after number it will say psi
I own a transmission shop, and can tell you; go to a dealer of Lincoln, or ford and they can get you one. You can also get one from a junkyard for a full size Ford (it's the same thing) and there are plenty of full size's there. A good junkyard has a computer program that should tell them which ones will work. If not; you can purchase a universal dipstick from TCI Transmissions. They have a website, and you can get one that will work at a pretty good price. Don't leave the tube without something in it to keep the trash out though. Put a rag or something in it. Glad to help out, Good Luck!!!
