I have a bank of 40 deep cycle batteries for power to my cabin. I want to cahrge these batteries using a 10KW generator. I am looking for a charge controller that will automatically run the generator when charge gets low in the battery bank and shut down the generator when it is fully charged. Any ideas?
In electronic circuitry almst anything is possible. Almost. The changing of voltages and currents is almost always possible but not always efficient. Yes it is very easy to utilize the 24 volt power panel to charge a 12V bank, provided that the 24 volt supply has the necessary current capability to hande the load.
