I don't have any old computers i can salvage or anything like that. I've looked at most of the major electronics stores in my areas sites, and none of them offer the connectors either.
garage sales,flea markets ,look in the yellow pages for electronics stores but not the brand named ones.

Not sure what you mean by a female USB connector any USB extension cable has both a male and a female end. Do you want both ends female? What are you trying to do? Maybe what you're looking for is a USB gender changer? You might have to buy them online if you can't find them in a store.
