Everyone around my church is always talking about the great advise they get when they call a Master Gardener. They almost sound like some kind of know all garden God. I'm new here and didn't want to sound dum by asking the church folk, so I am asking you. Where do I hire a Master Gardener and do you know how much thet charge for their service?
MASTER GARDENERS ARE PEOPLE THAT LOVE GARDENING AND HAVE TAKEN THE TIME TO BE TRAINED IN MANY ASPECTS OF GARDENING TO GIVE THE INFO BACK TO THE PUBLIC TO HELP THEM BE SUCCESFUL GARDENERS AND THEY INTURN HELP SOMEONE ELSE FOR FREE , FREE Master gardeners are county extensions helpers not some lazy porson who cant find job , as a master gardener certified I take that comment personally .
save money get your mower repaired and your friend to do the job for you. Cut your lawn each week ,it should only take about 15min if it is about the size of a mini bus. I would use a trimmer first before mowing, do not expect the mower to cut grass that is 2 feet long Regarding the next doors gardener try offering ?10 first or max ?15 and request he takes the rubbish, It will not take him long if he has the right tools when the lawn is eventually cut keep on top of it. retired gardener
Usually you can find one at your local extension office through a local university-I don't know what they charge.
Sorry.I have never heard of a master gardener.I thought that gardening was something that was taken up when you could not get a proper job.
