That's a pretty ugly question to have to answer, as it's not really doing a good job of defining itself. Machinery, in a nation as heavily industrialized as the USA, is quite literally everywhere. Even farming and ranching is heavily mechanized these days. Now, if you're looking to find the areas of heaviest industrialization, then that could be generalized to be the northeast.
The most would be in the most Industrialized, densely populated part of the country. That is the Northeast, especially between Washington D.C. and Boston.
