Alright. I have a project and I need some wood that ISN'T oak or pine and IS free. Basically what came to mind is maple pallets. I know pallets can be had for free often. What sort of places use maple pallets, and hence could I obtain some from?
They are pretty decent quality for the price.
yes, they tend to be quite thin texture that looks natural on your face!
I have all of the eye shadow pallets except for the colorful one. I would have to say that I don't love all the colors in any of the pallets and they arent great quality. I think for people who are just starting off with makeup the palettes are great because they have tons of different colors for people to experiment with, but if you already know textures that you want then I wouldnt really suggest them. The thing I hate the most about the palettes is that some of the colors are super pigmented and just by lightly touching the color tons of it will come off, but some colors no matter what you do no color will come off of it. Usually the glittery colors are the ones that are like that. My favorite palette is the 88 Warm Palette, but that's only because I love neutrals. Another issue is if you fall in love with one color, then you are going to have to buy the entire palette again when that color runs out. Believe me it happens. I wouldnt say they are professional looking.....have definetely found drugstore eyeshadows that are wayyyyy better. All in all I wasnt happy with my costal scents purchase...I could have lived without it and spent my money on something better LOL
