Great idea. You can easily do this without spending any money: Gears - old watches, vcr's Sheets of metal - appliance casings, aluminum siding Copper wire - All electrical cords have copper wire inside of them. Just find a spare one, or cut one off a trashed appliance, and strip the coating off with a sharp utility knife. Voila! Beautiful clean copper wire.
