Although the meteorite theory has some attractions - and the Inuit obtained their iron for spears from a huge meteorite in Greenland, I think it much more likely that iron was discovered by people smelting for copper and using iron carbonate minerals by mistake. but what everyone forgot to mention is if you go to far with rubber hose it will expand during operation causing brake fade. If you are going that long you NEED to use a steel braided/Teflon insert style hose also DOT 5 fluid
