which air intake sytem is better and why?
if you were going to race you dont want to race in a ford focus its not a racing car they are peace of **** cars you will stand no chance on the road with that thing to small of an engine and to much wait on the car
no you are on the wrong track. putting parts on your car just because the manufacturer tells you it will add x horses doesn't mean that its the right thing to do. and starting with the intake is very amateur to say the least start with ignition. :)
That shiny doesn't include the fitting for the MAFS its more of a generic intake. That shiny one doesn't include the walls for the cold air intake The more expensive one is a more vehicle specific product. I think the more expensive one is built for that car and is a more direct fit. Don't throw those filters away they are reusable and washable. The generic cheaper set is more work routing fittings and lines. Go with the more expensive one. Shane Actually Ford does use the Focus for racing team The The intake is a great place for a fist mod, dont mess the spark you dont need to untill you start adding bigger injectors nitrous. or change cams. The heads are where the real power is unlocked in non turboed non foced induction cars. The exhaust is another area that could help you pick up more power. Cat back system. ceramic coated headers. Focus can make insane power. 400 ft lbs or torque and 300 HP Take a look at the Rally leader boards. CARB certificate?
