Question:

Which Cold Air Intake do you think would work better on a 2002 Mustang GT?

Which Cold Air Intake do you think would be best for a 2002 Mustang GT? CL, KN, Steeda, or JLT?

Answer:

I don't think you can make them into a compound, but by heating them to a certain temperature, I believe you can turn them into an alloy, or solution of metals.
I'd go with KN or Steeda, I use KN and have no complaints. Steeda is a great company and make quality products. These filters are more effective at quality/quantity of air so they do work. I have put about 150,000 miles on my car and only one filter, works for me!
Honestly, they will all work about the same. Even the stock air intake on these cars isn't restrictive enough to be a bottleneck. The HP gains going to an aftermarket CAI on these cars is low, maybe 2 or 3 HP at most. Most people (including myself) have CAI's on their new edge Mustangs for sound and aesthetic purposes. If you doubt me, just look at the 2001 Bullitt Mustang, it came stock with a Ford Racing CAI and a less restrictive exhaust, and a upgraded intake manifold, and a bigger throttle body. All that was good for about a 5 HP increase over the stock GT. Say it with me kidsThe modular engines don't respond well to bolt ons They do however respond very well to forced induction.
