Question:

Which curling iron is smaller?

Is a 1 1/4 inch curling iron smaller then a 1 1/2 inch curling iron? and which gives cuter curls?

Answer:

It is possible that the brake pistons are not retracting fully because of dirt and corrosion. Try to determine the actual source of the noise, it may not be the brake. Dry final drive splines will squeak. My Valkyrie developed a low-speed squeak that sounded like an old bed spring, which I remedied by bleeding the clutch.
Are you pushing your bike backward to get it out of the garage to go riding and applying the brakes as you do so? That's why they squeak, they are used to only being used going forward and the reverse motion moves the pads a bit on the calipers. The same happens on most front disc brakes on autos. (to stop the squeak - WD40 will stop the squeak. Unfortunately the bike will not, ;D - STOP that is!) ADDED - For more precise info to your quest I recommend you research thru any of the many Goldwing forums on-line.
accumulated dust is most likely the reason, get some brake parts cleaner and spray it and wipe it.
um. 1 and 1/4 is smaller. odd question.
1 and 1/4 inch curling iron is smaler. the thinner the barrel the closer you get to spiral curls. while thick barrels will give you a wavy look. although it does depend on your hair too. some people who have hair that's hard to curl. i need a thin curling iron to make even big curls, big curling irons are very ineffective on my hair. i'd suggest trying a 1 inch iron if you're looking for spirals. 2 inch for wavy. unless your hair is hard to curl then like 1- 1 1/2 will give you a bigger curl
