Question:

Which kind of copper pipes would used in water construction?

Which kind of copper pipes would used in water construction?I want to the pipe size (diameter and thickness) ,the standard and the grade. If you can help me it will be so nice.

Answer:

Copper is very expensive and would not be recommended for standard ISP water piping applications. Copper tubing is of much thinner wall than pipe and has been used extensively in the past in sizes 3/4 OD and smaller. However Sched 40 plastic pipe has generally replaced it in domestic and commercial use because of lower material cost, the elimination of solder joints bearing lead and its overall improved ease of construction.
