I am going to buy a new laptop. I have only two choice. Which laptop is the best. Acer or Dell.
They both are garbage, UNLESS its the Dell XPS, but if I had to I'd say Dell, Acer (desktop anyway) fails very quickly my mother had one and it has had constant problems that I have to fix
For netbooks, Acer wins. For laptops, Dell wins.
Acer are cheaper but Dell does custom. I had a Dell laptop that didn't work too well. My friend who work on computers for the government told me Acer is much better and cheaper to buy and repair. I have a Toshiba now which works great. i would suggest the Acer personally.
Acer laptops are usually cheaper than Dell. Also you can get support easily. Dell offers customization. A wide range of laptops and they are reliable. But they are costlier than Acer by atleast Rs.5000 for the same specs.
