I am 17 and lift almost every dayI usually eat packet oatmeal with this nutrition:Cal 160cal from fat 15Total fat 2gpolyunsaturated fat .5monousaturated fat .5cholest 0sodium 260potassium 110carbs 34Dietary fiber 10soluble fiber 8sugar 7protein 4Today heated up oats with water and put greek yogurt it inThis are the nutrition:cal 270cal from fat 25fat 2.5sat fat .5poly/mono fat 1 eachchol 5mgsodium 65mgpotassium 210carbs 43fiber 10solube/insolube fiber 2 eachsugar 7protein 20Which do you think is better? I like the protein in the second but I drink shakes after a workout so I get plenty of protein, but the shakes do have a lot of caloriesAny other healthy snacks I could eat?

As happens, I've just moved - from a somewhat 'out-of-date' (25 year-old apartment) property to a recently re-furbished purpose-built bungalow for the 'elderly'The difference is quite staggeringThe 'old place' had old-fashioned single-glazed windows - and with 3 exterior walls exposed to the elements - on top of a windy hill - my electricity bills were horrendous - and obviously getting worse - every price increase - and every harsher winterHere in the UK, we don't get (yet) the same EXTREMES of weather and temperature changes you get in the US - but are more than a little conscious that investment in insulation pays big dividendsBack in the day - our large family house - built 1897 - detached and also atop a hill - involved huge heating costsI too spent a while - sticking plastic sheets over original Victorian windowsI had spent a small fortune having the original frames repaired - and open/shut lead-weighted mechanisms re-activated - leaving longer term remedies for another day - when finances (a squeezed budget) allowed; ))
Actually, I'm ready for fallIt's still 100? hereWhen the cooler weather comes, I can turn off the air and open up the doors and windowsIt'll be great to put on my jeans and long sleeved t-shirtsMy heating bill will be low as it never gets too cold hereWhen it does, I like snuggling up under a warm blanketEdit: Yes, I live in Phoenix, AZLove it here when the temps are downIt will be 102? todayIt's funny how us Phoenicians get hyped up about FallPeople are already talking about how it's cooling downBesides the monsoons being out of here, which make a huge difference in how the temps feel, it's still hot.
I think you made a good deal with the insulation, you will be saving allot this winterHate to admit it but so far we haven't done anythingOur heater needs a little refurbish, husband believes he just needs to reset the pilotHope he gets on it soonOur flat was built in 1900 and we have original double pane windows but they could do with being replaced.We put some winterizing tape around them 2 winter agoWe weren't here last winterWe usually put up some rolled blankets on the window sills when it deeps to low in tempTo replace these huge windows would run us at least $5,000or moreWe do not plan on investing any more into this place, want to sell it and with the bad real estate market will not recover any invested funds, so let the next owner do what they like with the placeThis entire flat could do with a big overhaulOur neighbor spent over $40,000 redoing his flat before he moved in, changed all the wiring and pipes etcThe property is smaller then our place and I think his size flat for this area is going for around 12,000,000 forints which is about $60,000 or so USNot worth investing in right nowhe got his flat for free when his aunt died so no big loss for himWe paid cash for our flat and do not want to invest here any moreGuess it will be a long winter of sweaters and blankets.

Hey ! to me, the second option sounds MUCH bettercalories arent the enemyplease hear me outcalories provide energy for your bodyit allows your organs to run properly, for your brain to function, FOR YOU TO WORKOUT! your body burns 1,200-1,500 calories a day by doing nothingthis means that you will burn around 1,800-2,000+ calories a day WITH exerciseif you are only eating a breakfast with 160 calories your body will begin to hold onto this as you arent feeding yourself enougheventually, you wont be burning breakfast and this can lead to weight GAIN:(((( no thanks, haha! breakfast is the most important meal of the day for a reasonby eating lots of calories early in the morning, you are able to sustain fullness for longer (less binging and calories in the long run), more engery, and it KICKSTARTS YOUR METABOLISM (heck yes!!) PLUS, the protein in the second (and higher levels of potassium) are very important for the development of muscles and burning of fatat the end of the day, i would stick with the second option :) xxx comment for any more help, cutie ;)
It just got comfortable here this past week (yea no 90's).I need to get my windows caulked and a draft strip put on the bottom of the storm doorAnd will have some extra mouse traps baited before the real cold comes in, caught 3 of them last year as the weather was getting cold.
