I have three children under three and with the recent death of the 4 year old, I do not feel comfortable buying a front loader machine. However, my kids get their clothes VERY dirty. Help please.
Front loader are best....Plus they save on water
First of all my deepest sympathy, to all, I think all top loader are equivalent, it's just the gadgets, sometime they make to many, and that mean more stuff to break. I have a maytag. probably 20yrs now. and no problems.
any top loader will do the job i had a top loader for the past 15 years time to buy a new one and i had 4 kids 2boys and 2 girls and it kept all their clothes clean buy the one u can afford
I have a Maytag Neptune front loader, and the controls are on the *top back* where a toddler can't possibly reach them. The issue with the 4yo was that the controls were on the *front* of the machine. It's very sad story all around and certainly something to consider when buying appliances. So you can still buy a front loader if you really want one, but be aware of where the controls are located. If you're sure you want a top loader then I recommend checking Consumer Reports at your public library. They constantly review products and I've found their evaluations be be quite helpful.
