I want statues for my home garden. So please give me better suggestion. Which type of statue have high quality?
The only way to answer which is better is to respond with other questions. But first let me say that for longevity sake, natural stone lasts a lot longer and polished granite lasts pretty much the longest (Rock of Ages). The questions are simple, what kind of statue would you like to see in the garden? Animals, figures, abstract forms, structures. Metal can be easier to create into intricate designs and depending on the finish could easily last 5 years in your garden without much noticeable changes (powder coating would be recommended). Simple concrete forms are fairly reasonable price wise, but they do weather and stain. Other materials are also available such as clay pots (glazed is best). So it is up to you and your budget. Check out some typical garden shops that have statues available. Major chain stores may also have some items. You may also find items available online. Peter
That would depend on which one you buy.
Marble statue. Learning from what remains after centuries, those in Rome still proudly standing. It has good durability and long lasting. Marble statue also has it's own historical background. Represents the Roman Empire or The Ancient Greece during their peak of civilization.
How much air pollution do you have in your area and how much rain to you get? Stone is a subtractive process from a larger block and is generally trickier to make and hard to mass produce - therefore costlier. Metal can be cast from a mold made from a model but the cost of the material is higher and the finishing process is labor intensive. The most common metal, bronze, also requires continuing care. Concrete and certain related materials are cast and thus require a large strong mold for the result which is as heavy as stone (metal molds can be done in sections) but the material is cheaper and can be very durable.
