Question:

Which vacuum cleaner is the best?

I have a 2 vacuum cleaners, and I HATE them both! One works okay, but the suction on the hand tool sucks (that one is a dirt devil) and the bissell bagless I have, spills dust/dirt everywhere...I have even taken the whole thing apart and it still is dirty and leaves a mess.I have a baby and a german shepard!Which vacuum works the best for you? the pick-up?

Answer:

The rolling ball one works!
I have a German Shepherd also and he malts everywhere! Miele hoovers I find are excellent. You can either get a cat and dog one or an allergy one, the suction on it is really good, so I would definitely recommend it.
i would go with a Dyson I've heard good things about them. Or an Electrolux or a Kirby, both of which you can get used (as they usually cost a grand or more but are well worth the price new). I've had experiences with both of those before and they work like no other vacuum i've seen.
Good one! :-P I did accidently!!! I was coming home with my vacume I just had repaired, it was a Hoover. The other car I had at the time was a hatch back. well, the clip on it had broken and I was traveling down the highway back home when the back flew open and my vacume took off, hit the ground........................ I was driving like 60 on that freeway and looking out my rear view window at my horror, the poor thing was sparking all over the place and other cars were dodging it in it's pass as it was litterly cruising backwards at high speed! I sincerely hope it didn't cause any accidents but I could have been cited for that. Nevertheless, I had the back door fixed and have a different car now. As for the poor Hoover, it went to the BIG Pearly gates in the sky!!!!!!!!!!!! :-( +(
All bagless machines are no good. They will have good suction power, but very low airflow. You need both airflow and suction power for good cleaning. Bagless systems have to draw air through a very long series of tubes and filters, and this lowers the airflow but it increases the sealed suction. My advice would be to at least get a bagged machine. You've probably heard of dyson (they have GREAT advertising) which is a bagless, but they are not a good machine!! Try and stay away from those brands, it will be much better in the long run. If you have a baby you are probably interested in good filtration. Now, bagless machines and any vacuum from a box store will have poor filtration when comparing them to a high end vacuum cleaner. Miele's for example will bring the air parts per million to ZERO. Most bagless machines will actually raise the airborn particles beacuse even tho they are retaining alot of dirt, they are putting out some dirt in the air and so the particles in the air increases. Riccar, Sebo, Miele, Simplicity and Lindhaus are the BEST vacuums you can get. There are a couple other brands as well, but these are the main ones. Honestly a bissell or a dyson or a hoover or any of those do not compare in quality, filtration, or features. Sure they will pick up good out of the box, but that is not of great value if they don't retain the dirt, don't last longer then 5 years etc... Here are some models i would recommend. The Riccar Standar, Sebo G1 or X4 or Felix, Or the Miele Callisto. Good luck!!
