i personally don't like carpet cause it gets crappy looking so easy with stains
Totally with you there. We moved into a new place with all hardwoods and we have not even thought of a rug other than those to wipe your feet on at the door. My mom thinks they are cold and we are crazy. I can breathe and they are so much easier to take care of!
I agree. The fashion trends of carpet are too expensive to keep up with. Wood floors are the way to go.
When we built our current house we didn't want any carpet either so we went with ceramic tile throughout the house. It doesn't get scratched from dogs or kids, doesn't need to be refinished or waxed, and doesn't curl or cup. It is also water proof, so spills aren't a problem.
I agree. With all our allergies and my sons asthma I would love to rip it all out and do wood or tile.
