Question:

Who knows about the criteria of fireproof and thermal insulation materials?

Who knows about the criteria of fireproof and thermal insulation materials?

Answer:

Seven levels are divided according to "The classification of combustion performance of building materials and products", namely, A1, A2, B, C, D, E, F. It mainly refers to the combustion performance of materials. You can check on this standard for the specific dividing evidence. There are detail charts which mainly describe that whether there is drip or not, the ignition time, continuous burning time and so on.
The standards of fireproof and thermal insulation material. 1. the height of buildings is greater than or equal to 100 m, the combustion performance of thermal insulation materials should be A-level; 2. the height of buildings is greater than or equal 60 m but less than 100 m, the combustion performance of thermal insulation materials should be no less than B2-level. When using B2-level thermal insulation materials, fire barrier zone should be set in each floor; 3. the height of buildings is greater than or equal to 24 m but less than 60 m, the combustion performance of thermal insulation materials should be no less than B2-level. When using B2-level thermal insulation materials, fire barrier zone should be set in every two floors; 4, the height of buildings is less than 24 m, the combustion performance of thermal insulation materials should be no less than B2-level. When using B2-level thermal insulation materials, fire barrier zone should be set in every three floors.
1. thermal insulation materials with A-level combustion performance: EPS sea capacity module, rock wool, glass wool, foam glass, foamed ceramics, foam cement, hole-closed perlite, etc. 2. thermal insulation materials with B1-level combustion performance: specially-treated extruded polystyrene boards(XPS)/ specially-treated Polyurethane(PU), phenolic aldehyde, gelatine powder polyphenyl granule, etc. 3. thermal insulation materials with B2-level combustion performance: molding polystyrene board(EPS), extruded polystyrene board(XPS), polyurethane(PU), polyethylene(PE), etc. Such A-level insulation materials are only fireproof, the thermal insulation properties are worse than that of organic XPS \\EPS materials. Currently I think that the best insulation material should be EPS sea capacity module, it not only achieves the requirement of insulation but also fulfills the goal of fireproofing, and the comprehensive unit price of it is not expensive. The thermal insulation materials in the domestic market have their own disadvantages, you'd better take the building demands into consideration, and use the materials that are within the acceptable range. I hope my answers help you.
