Third An Evacuation Kit Important papers, some extra clothing, etc. already gathered together and perhaps a plan on who will grab what, on the way out of the home pictures, etc(A home based business may need to grab an external computer harddrive, which is backed up daily, for example, or even the computer tower, or laptop) Fourth CALL LIST important phone numbersgather these ahead of time, and it will make your life easier, in the event of a disaster. family members, churches, community action agencies, etc. Be Safe!
we too had a fire. it was jan 8th 2001.were you insured? if so, you should try to get a hold of a private insurance adjuster. they grab 10% but they re well worth it bc they know the ins and outs of the insurance biz and they ll get what you re deserved not what your ins company wants to give you. good luck
