i dont quite remember...i think the cases vary in how many spots u want....but the actual shadow i think was like 11...its only a little cheaper but u dont get a lot of eyeshadow in the pallets....so ya but i think i remember paying like $4 dollars for the case with 4 spots...but now they are selling pallets for 36...but the colors are prepicked...but they are pretty!!

You do not have to have the Pro card in order to buy the palettes. They are sold at any Freestanding or Pro store. The quad I believe is $4 or $5, and the 15 slot is $12. The shadow pan refills are $11 apiece.
Uhm. What kind of MAC store are you going? There are 2 kinds. There are regular MAC stores and there are MAC pro stores. You don't have to be a pro member to shop at either. You can't get the empty 15 palettes are regular stores but you can get empty quads. You don't pick out the eyeshadows and they put them in the palette for you. You either get the shadows in their pots or you can get pro pan shadows. And then you buy the palette. Everything is seperate. Shadows in their pots cost 14.50 and pro pans cost 10.50. I don't know how much the empty quads or the empty 15 palette is. There are some premade quads right now for MAC's cult of cherry collection and those are I believe 36 each
