This chair is very common in hotel conference rooms, weddings and other events. Does anyone know where did the design come from ? or who was the first to produce this kind of chair ?
Please be more specific about the design features of a 'banquet chair'. I can't imagine the same style of chair being suitable both for a wedding feast and for a meeting e.g. for taking notes, small fold-up 'table' attached.
