Who would win a fight between a Whooping Crane and a chinchilla?
Chinchilla. They have powerful teeth, dense fur (for armor) and they are very fast. A whooping crane has very fragile bones, and when birds are cut they tend to bleed uncontrolably. They crane could simply fly away if it was uninjured, but by running away it means the chinchilla has won.

i raise chinchilla's and mostly they are very passive animals. so i guess the crane would probably win because they have the huge bill they can suffocate them?
In theory, the chinchilla wouldn't see what hit him. However, a cousin of a friend of a friend's sister's aunt's brother's lover's hairdresser's shampoo girl heard from this guy that chinchillas can be formidable opponents when provoked.
