Why am i so constipated?

this is so embarassing to ask, but i really want answersi try to incorporate more fibre into my diet nowi bought high fibre granola bars, and i eat almonds and high fibre cereal, but nothing helpsthe doctor said i'm extremely constipated and i know this can cause serious problems in the future.

Try eating more fruits and vegetables instead of just grainsEat an apple (peel on) or peach before you go to bed at nightEat some fresh berries with that high fiber cerealEat some dried plums/prunes before you go to bed at night (they come in flavors now and taste good) or some datesInclude beans and slow-cooked oatmeal (not instant oatmeal) in your dietDrink lots of water, get more exercise and eat less cheese, less chocolate and less sugar (all of which will contribute to your constipation problem).
i am not a pro but it sounds like you have somewhat the same attic arraignment as we havethe previous owners had blown in insulation under the floor boards and it is very effectivewe don't loose heat to the atticbut its pretty messy when we have to open it up to fix wiring and such.
