Almost all my brackets for my braces are loose. I have a power chain to close up my extraction sights. Could a filling or the power chain be causing the brackets to become loose? Plus I do have a toothace but can't get to a dentist because my dentist is in Virginia and I'm in Utah. In a boarding school. Plus I've seen this question over and over again. When can I light up after a filling? Will smoking make my braces stain? I know I know Young to be smoking but it's none of your buisness how old I am nor is it your buisness to try and get me to stop I'm trying to but it's harder than it looks.
Hey there! I know, my brackets feel loose sometimes too, but only the ones with the powerband across it.I think it's the powerband. And yes smoking will make your braces stain. I've seen it when my friend got hers off it was kind of nasty (no offense or anything dude)
As for the loose brackets, I can't help you there. I'd say call up your orthodontist and see what he has to say. Maybe he can call up another orthondontist in the Utah area to help you if something needs to be done. And smoking with braces, not sure if it has side affects. But it could stain your teeth, and could make your teeth have moons when you get them off. Moons is when you take your braces off and you still have imprints from where the glue was.
i have braces and i got 4 teeth pulled out, but honestly the only thing you could do is consult your orthadontist. he would be the one to know what to do. when mine are loose i have to go to the doctor because that could possible lead to another month with them. and i dont want that.
