Why are there seeds in lemons but there aren't seeds in limes?

Answer:

Lime is very acidic but you can give him a little of the rhine to chew on. I know a woman who's cockatoo absolutely loves it, it doesn't seem to be hurting him. At least you give your bird a good variety by the sound of it,good on you!
No it isn't. It is very acidic so he shouldn't have a lot of it but he can eat some occasionally. One of my birds likes lime rind.
Yes Lime is toxic to all birds , but I believe what you are referring too is a Cement mixture as used in buildings, this is different from pure unslaked Lime. Lime such as Quick Lime will burn and destroy the intestine and flesh,so you must never give this to your birds, Magnesium Limestone ,in small quantities is beneficial to birds, as it contains many minerals.
