Why biodiesel should be reconciled with diesel oil
Biodiesel is a mixture of complex organic compounds containing oxygen high, the mixture is mainly organic matter in some large molecular weight, including almost all kinds of oxygenated organic compounds, such as ethers, esters, aldehydes, ketones, phenols, organic acids, alcohols, etc.. The general situation of biodiesel is not alone for foreign cars, the addition of 5%-20% biodiesel in diesel, the power performance and basic petrochemical diesel, if adding ratio is too large, the power will be lower than diesel.
Biodiesel is a kind of fatty acid alkyl ester, which is obtained by transesterification of animal and vegetable fats (triglycerides) and alcohol (methanol or ethanol). The chemical composition is different. Biodiesel contains no hydrocarbons, esters, while diesel contains only hydrocarbons. Biodiesel is obtained through the extraction of plant seeds containing oil, which is obtained through the extraction of underground petroleum resources.
