Why can’t the mineral quartz be classified based on color alone?
Quartz sparkles quite nicely, it doesn't have the same fire as a diamond but it's still a pretty gemstone. But if money is that much of an issue why go for a poor clear stone when there are so many beautiful coloured stones that are cheap and will make the ring stand out.
If it has diamond acccents, you will see the diference. Qaurtz is fine if she agrees to it, and if the center stone is in tasteful proportions, no one would notice. If yuo have a gaudy 2 carat quartz in the middle and you are as broke as you say you are, people WILL know that it is a fake. Stay under one carat for the center stone and you will be fine. Good luck
