Question:

Why ceramics are used as crucible for melting metals?

Why ceramics are used as crucible for melting metals?I already Google it, but i can‘t seem to find the answers and i need answers ASAP . thank you

Answer:

Ceramics are typically used since they have high melting points so exposure to hot flames will not deteriorate them.
the 9k is decent. breaks kind of easily. it is being remade and should be comming out soon. all of the warrior sticks are bad. they break way too easily. the s17 also breaks easily but is a really good stick. the se16 also a good stick.
I have used Warrior for several seasons. Currently have an AK27 and a Dolomite. Both have grip, doesn't slip when taking a slap shot. I can feel the puck better with AK, so better stick handling. My shot is harder with the dolomite, but it is a stiffer shaft.
Warrior. Warriors are really good. I had one for 11 years and it's still good.
Ceramics are generally fused oxides which have very high melting points but can be fabricated. into crucibles (crucible is an aciennt term for cup). They are used to hold other substances that have lower melting points - such as metals - in order to melt or alloy them with other substances, Aluminum oxide is a typical material used for crucibles.
