I know that Chi irons are supposed to damage hair less, but unlike other irons, Chis literally make hair SMOKE. Anybody know why?
Either your hair is wet, or the temperature of the irons is too hot and is burning your hair! Or.possibly the steam is actually water to cool your hair down? I have no idea about these irons sorry love!
All straightners smoke, Ethier you have product on your hair, Your hair is wet, or it's too hottand By the way, Chi's don't damage hair lessThey're like ALL Straightners, They Damage the same.
The iron smokes due to the product that you have on there is burning. THAT or maybe cause your hair is wet. Chi irons are the best of the best. try and not hold it there for too long on the hair. Trying to avoid damage is the key! Oh, and make sure your hair is COMPLETELY dry when planning on straightening it. :)
