why do I bloat up at night?

I eat a diet of high fibre breaky, vegetables and white meatI am 59I do not drink fizzy stuff or much dairy.I have been to doctors many times complaining of this and his explanantion is constipation?I'm not sure what it is has anyone got suggestions?
