Question:

Why do LCD monitors ripple when I poke them?

I think it's fun but I wanna know why they do that, what is making the display that makes them ripple when poked? I suppose I prolly shouldn't keep doing it too rough.Does anyone know?

Answer:

it ripples because, there is liquid inside. LCD stands for Liquid Crystal Display.
Because the L in LCD stands for Liquid. Stop poking it !! LOL!!!!
I don't really know, but LCD stands for liquid crystal display and I suspect that is your answer.
The LCD works using the liquid crystal display, which is similar to the ink , and it has something to do with temperature for generating colors anyway . so when you poke the screen , it's similar to changing the temperature of that point which causes colors to change
