Question:

Why do lights flicker?

The lights in the student center keep flickering. Why?

Answer:

may be light is old. change a new one flickering will be stop
Because lights do that. We like to think of electric power being constant and reliable, but it's not. Power spikes happen all the time, as do little interruptions. I can be caused by major things affecting the whole power grid, or by someone turning the lights on or off in another room, or anything in between. Light bulbs themselves, which aren't built to last forever, will flicker sometimes for weeks before they finally burn out. Or of course it could be a ghost messing with you. But I'm leaning more towards natural causes.
No it's not a spirit this time....it does this either the ballast is on it's way burning out, will cause the lights to do this. If you change all the lights and it still does it, it's the ballast going.
