Some things have come out in the news lately that keyed me in to what exists.So, what perks do our members of the congress and the senate have?Do you get angry that they vote in their own raises? Vote for things like having a private gym just for them? I couldn't believe that these elitists actually have a private elevator when I heard thatMy goodness, are they too good to ride on an elevator with other quot;commonersquot;?Do you think any of them (D, R, or I) have a right to this stuff?I'm a registered Independent, by the way, so I do not care what party you are in, just what you think of this stuff.
They have these things so they can avoid mingling with the very people they are supposed to represent and serveThey absolutely SHOULD NOT be voting on their own raisesThey SHOULD have salaries no higher than the lowest paid worker in their state/country or at least the average of thoseIt's like America went to sleep for awhile and when we woke upwe find raccoons, vultures and wolves have somehow gotten into the White House and Congress, running wild, without boundaries, completely amuckTime to change thatDon't dismiss the next two electionsThey WILL help us get back on the RIGHT track, not thisweird, dictators on parade, control freaks for a week, who cares what the majority of the American people want, take a hike U.SConstitution, club for Bullies R Us on Capitol Hill thing we've got going on NOWAmericans (REAL Americans) have woken up, and WE ARE NOT HAPPY WITH WHAT WE SEE GOING ONAs grownups, owners and rulers of this Great Nation, we, the American People, WILL be putting a whole bunch of these clowns on time-out and hit-the-road Jack and Jane notices in the next major elections.
