Question:

Why do my hips and knees feel sore after riding motorcycle?

I was riding motorcycle for few hours and my hip muscles feel sore, basically my legs were the other two wheels of the motorcycle, using my legs to brake and to start, to shift and balance, and it‘s really takes a toll on your legs.

Answer:

Personally I'm a big fan of the Old Man Emu lift kits and a bigger fan of having a lift done professionally by people that KNOW what they are doing and have the tools to do the job correctly.
Riding a motorcycle does use different muscles, as Heavy Cavalry said. BUT, you should not be dragging your feet for any reason. You should be able to ride those short distances and push very little, if at all, when parking. That extra work and out of position exercise is what makes it hurt.
