Question:

why do my water pipes vibrate?

i have lived in my apartment for about 6 months, and recently my water pipes have been giving me a problem. at least ten times a day (normally a few minutes after using water, either in the bathroom or the kitchen) a strong vibration occurs in the water pipes. it sounds like the vibration starts far away and culminates at the faucets, and it usually lasts about 10 seconds. we can make it stop by opening a faucet, either in the kitchen sink or in the bathroom sink or shower. i haven't been able to pinpoint the cause of it. any help?

Answer:

There isn't one other than flame extinguisher. It is quite acceptable to just call it extinguisher in the second sentence.
U'd do better with this Q if u put it in another category..maybe small business.
