Answer:
i would go with the baking dish, and stir the macaroni every 3 to 5 min to avoid burning Because the pan is so thin and the grill is very hot, just on the bottom, I would for see it burning easilyHave Fun!
The heavier pan is a better ideaMake sure to spray it really well first so that your mc doesn't stick and it should be okayI have done it before with beans and other casserole types of dishesIt worked just fineAluminum is sometimes too light to stand up to the weight and heatGood luckNana
That is seriously not a good ideaNo matter what kind of pan you use, the bottom will burn the mac and cheeseIf you absolutley must, put it in an aluminum foil pan sprayed with PAMBut i can almost guarantee the results wont be as yummy as you might have hoped.
I think the disposable type pan would work fineJust be sure to support it underneath when you lift it up or it will bend and you will lose all your mac cheese on the groundStir it often so it won't burn and stick to the bottom of the panSome pans will warp when they are put on the grill so a disposable one you can just throw away afterHave fun !!!!! Oh, by the way, Stouffers makes a pretty good frozen mac cheese entree and it also comes in family size too.
are you talking about under the drip pans on the eyes? my mom did that because she would boil things over all the time and instead of scrubbing the pans, she would just change the foil.
