Question:

why do smoke detectors keep beeping after you change the battery?

I've changed the battery and it continues to chirp. Battery is operational because I tried it in another device first

Answer:

It's up to the President whether Rumsfeld stays or not. As long as he has the trust and confidence of Bush and Bush's supporters, there is no sensible reason why he should surrender to his detractors. Most of the people calling on him to resign are only doing so for political propaganda value. I see no merit in their claims. Most Republicans and generals support him and trust him. Why give the Democrats' grievances any weight?
Hi. I'm not hating on ANYONE who uses spurs. I have plenty of friends who use themincluding my mother. ButttI persanally do not like spurs (wouldnt say i hate them cuz i know why people use them) And i understand if you use the spurs for speed or if the horse is lazy and wont go. My saying to you is, use them until the horse gets the point. Please dont slam it into them. I hate seeing people do that. My little sister does speed, (i do not ride western at all) and i watched some of those kids just WAM those spurs into the horses. After those kids got out of the arean they got a big comment/lecture from a 15 yr old girl (me).So if you are using them (THIS GOES OUT TO EVERYONE) just use them nicely:) (Please dont hate me for syaing this, or delete my comment, or low rate this.) I honestly do not care if ppl use themonly if they misuse them. Thankyou!
Haha i really didn't feel like looking at all of those, but bumper spurs are pretty ahmazing, they get ur horse to do what cha want, and it doesn't hurt them like pointyy ones. and u should say what seat u ride, cuz im a barrel racer and english ones are completely different.
The longest spurs are used by top level dressage riders, those who ride Lippizans, or are looking for a spanish walk from their Andalusian. I think your spurs are fine. Those are the kind I use. I also like the ones that don't have any rowel / point at all, just a curve of metal around my boot.
I personally use the longest (legal) spurs I can find. My legs are very short, and my mare likes to have a nice long leg wrapped around her belly. I have several pairs that are a simple blunt end because my mare hates rowels. I am not the biggest fan of rowels when I ride her, but others need them. I have never tried rubber ended spurs, but I think that you should only use the amount of spur that you need. Maybe experiment with several different types of spurs, and find out what your horse likes best and what feels comfortable for you.
