Basically i live in the government housing projects with a ton of racist criminal black/hispanic gangstersThey break nearly everything in my buildingThe elevator would break at least 1x every 2 weeksThe government would have to pay for a repair at least 2x a monthPeople get stuck in the elevators all the timeIt is in very bad shapeThe criminals also seem to have fun pooping and peeing in the stairwaysSome women change their pads in stairwaysThey jack out mailboxes on a constant basisThere is a ton of graffiti everywhereMy question is: why would anyone want to cause destruction to their own apartment building?
Modern houses have the Best insulation, every year they get more and more restrictive My 1925 house has none My parents 1968 had R-8 My Living room (which I redid) has R-13 Many newer homes are R-15 in the walls and R-30 in the ceiling
They're bored, and they figure that the project is a way to keep them from achieving anythingAnd they are reacting to people like you who call them criminals, gangsters and racistsOn top of which, they have no reason for caring for the neighbourhood, and no pride in being there With TV (and films) showing huge houses, and even programs like Extreme Makeover -Home Edition showing people getting these 4000 square foot homes, with all the latest gadgets and gizmos, virtually for free, they feel they are being discriminated against BTW, when I was young we lived in such a project, but it was more homogeneous in terms of race and background, and we all took pride in our little plots of gardens and the freshness of the buildingsBut, some 20 years later, those same cared-for flats and facilities were in much the state you describe - people lost the pride of neighbourhood.
